Do I need to have plans before contacting you?
No. Some clients arrive with finished architectural plans, while others have only ideas and a lot. We can review existing plans for buildability and budget, or help connect you with a designer to create plans. Either way, we'll talk through what you want before pricing anything.
Can you build on a rural lot with well and septic?
Yes. Many properties in Wood, Ottawa, Sandusky and outer Lucas County rely on private wells and septic systems. We coordinate with licensed well drillers, septic designers and the local health department so those systems are planned and approved alongside the home.
How long does it take to build a new home in Northwest Ohio?
It varies with size, design, site conditions, permitting and weather. Most custom homes typically take several months from groundbreaking to completion. We lay out a realistic schedule during planning and update you as each phase, from foundation to final inspection, is completed.
