What should I do right after water damage?
Stop the source if you can, such as shutting off the main water valve, and turn off power to affected areas if it is safe. Take photos, move valuables, and contact your insurance company. Then call us to assess the damage and start removing wet materials before mold has a chance to develop.
Do you work with insurance companies?
Yes. We provide photos, measurements and detailed written scopes, and we can meet with your adjuster to review the damage. Coverage decisions are up to your insurer and your policy, but we help make sure the full extent of the damage is documented.
Can wet drywall be saved?
Sometimes. Drywall wet by clean water for a short time can occasionally be dried in place. Drywall exposed to dirty water, or wet for longer periods, usually needs to come out, along with wet insulation. We measure moisture and make recommendations based on the conditions.
