How long does a roof replacement take?
Most single-family homes in the Oregon and Toledo area are typically completed in one to three working days once materials are delivered. Larger or steeper roofs, extensive deck repairs, or detached garages added to the scope can extend that. Weather is the main variable, and we will not open up a roof when rain or high winds are in the forecast.
Can you put new shingles over my old roof?
Ohio code allows a second layer in some cases, but we generally recommend a full tear-off. Removing the old roofing lets us inspect and repair the deck, install ice and water shield properly and avoid trapping moisture. An overlay also adds weight and can shorten the life of the new shingles.
Do you help with insurance claims after hail or wind damage?
Yes. If a storm has damaged your roof, we can inspect it, document the damage with photos and measurements, and meet with your adjuster to review the scope. We provide a detailed written estimate so you can compare it against the insurance scope. Coverage decisions are always made by your insurance company.
